Reeves Import Motorcars has been a unique dealership from the beginning. Founder Allen Reeves introduced the Bay area to some of the most exciting, new import models not found anywhere else. He also introduced his personal philosophy and golden rule of success: Treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Now, 35   years later, Reeves Import Motorcars has nine award-winning dealerships and service departments on 23 acres. The Reeves success story is based on family. Allen married his childhood sweetheart, Vivian Clark. At first a homemaker, Vivian joined the dealership in 1978 during a time when there weren't many women in the automobile industry. Her first job was as Allen's mail clerk.

With a philosophy of providing outstanding customer service through common courtesy and respect for the customer, the couple carefully planned the dealership's growth. Reeves  first franchise was Volkswagen (1971), and soon expanded to accommodate Porsche ('72), Audi ('72), BMW ('74), Subaru ('76), Hummer ('92) ,  Land Rover ('96) , and Maserati ('03).

A single location ensured that they would always be able to personally cater to both their business' and customers' needs.

Reeves’ 300+ employees attend free educational and customer service classes up to four times a week.  Reeves have been and continue to be a major contributor to the community.  Mr. Reeves passed away over 6 years ago of cancer.  Mrs. Reeves now runs the dealership as she and her husband always had, with respect for the customer and a desire for success.  The Reeves' love for their business, community and each other helped create a legacy that will live well beyond any of their individual contributions.
